Brake Bias Adjustment
The dimension marked “centre” on diagram “A” must be between 62 mm and 63.5 mm, never more than
63.5 mm. Please be careful to assemble the master cylinders to allow the balance bar to work completely
perpendicular when you brake.

Apply the brakes and adjust the pushrod length so that the adjusting shaft is parallel to the master cylinder
mount (diagram 51). Shorten one pushrod and lengthen the other equally and the pedal position will not
change. Do not extend the pushrods to the point where they preload the master cylinders. When satisfied
with the pushrod adjustment, tighten both of the lock nuts on pushrods. The smaller bore master cylinder
has the long push rod (see diagram 50).
Brake Balance
The brake balance can be adjusted by the driver using the adjuster knob located to the right of the driver
seat. Clockwise turns increases the braking force to the front. The brake pressure values can be shown in
the instrument panel, “front brake pressure and rear brake pressure values”, in bar.
Brake Bleeding Procedure
Both the front and rear systems must be bled simultaneously:

Front & rear passenger’s side,
•
Front & rear driver’s side.
After bleeding minimal brake pedal travel should be observed. Bleeding the brakes does not require any
power equipment or a massive amount of applied force.
Brake Fluid
Castrol SRF is the recommended brake fluid. Do not mix types of brake fluid as this can affect the seals.
