Deactivating airbags*

Front passenger airbag deactivation

If you fit a rear-facing child seat to the front passenger seat,
the front passenger airbag must be de-activated.

When the passenger airbag is

deactivated

, this means that only the

passenger front airbag is deactivated. All the other airbags in the
vehicle remain activated.

Deactivating the front passenger airbag

– Switch the ignition off.

– Turn the ignition switch in the key operated switch in the glove

compartment to the position
