This special destination has not been
assigned to any previously selected desti-
nation. It is based on the close-by desti-
nations to present car position.
For this reason, this function is useful
when planning a short break such as eat
at a restaurant or searching for the near-
est service station.

Select and confirm the "Close to loca-
tion" menu field.
A list of landmarks will be displayed.

Make your selection of landmarks and
confirm.
A list of neighbouring destinations to the
landmark of your choice will show up.

A list of close-by destinations to present
car position for the landmark of your
choice will be displayed. Furthermore, the
distance between vehicle and destination
is displayed. The items on the list are
listed by distance.

Select and confirm the destination of
your choice.
The basic navigation menu will be dis-
played; the selected destination will be
displayed in the destination field.
Now you can activate the guide to desti-
nation (see page 58).
