In the station keys 1-6 1

2 you can memo-
rize for three areas – FM (Frequency
Modulation), TP (Traffic Program) and AM
(Medium Wave) – 6 stations in each of the
2 memory banks (i.e. memory bank FM1
and FM2).
FM = Frequency Modulation
AM = Amplitude Modulation (Medium
Wave)

While listening to the station to be
memorized rocker switch 1

hear a brief sound muting. Next, an
acoustic signal confirms the memoriza-
tion of the station.

Once the operation has been success-
ful the program name (RDS station) or the
station frequency will be displayed on the
Info field and in the respective station
field.

The memory is preserved even if the bat-
tery is disconnected.
The tuned station is always compared to
the stored stations in the stations' key 1

(Autocompare). If in the RDS stations (see
page 22) the code PI is identical or the
frequency coincides with the stations
without RDS, the respective key station
number (i.e. "FM
RNE3") will also
appear in the status line.
On the visual radio display the field for
the selected station key is red high-
lighted.

Just press station key 1

2 briefly to call up
the memorized station. The respective
program name or frequency will be dis-
played on the Info field. If the stored fre-
quency cannot be tuned into the tuner will
automatically choose an alternative fre-
quency with good reception (Best-Station
function) for the memorized station.
