Preparing the inner camera

1. Fully charge the camera battery and make sure a memory card is

installed. Refer to pages 10 and 11 for details.

2. Clean the camera lens and LCD display using a micro-fiber lens cloth.

3. Make sure the USB/memory card cover on the side of the camera is

fully seated.

4. If you are NOT using an underwater photo-video light, set the

camera’s White Balance setting to Underwater Deep or Underwater
Shallow depending on your depth. User Deep for depths greater than
25ft (8m) and Shallow for depths less than 25ft (8m) If you are using
a photo-video light, set the White Balance to Auto.

5. Check the other menu settings to make sure the camera is setup to

your preference. Refer to the Photo Setting and Video Settings in this
manual for more information about menu settings.
