Date & Time Stamp Photo
When this setting is enabled, the Date or Date & Time will be imprinted on
the bottom right corner of each photo. The date/time stamp format is
YYYY/MM/DD HH:MM:SS. Refer to Video Settings for Date & Time
Stamp Video.
Video settings
This menu is used to change video recording settings. Some video
settings are also found in the Photo settings menu. For example, the
White Balance setting is in the Video and Photo settings menu. Changing
one of these duplicate settings will apply to both videos and photos.
White Balance (WB)
Select from 7 different white balance settings depending on specific
ambient lighting conditions to optimize the photo and video color
reproduction.
•
Auto: Automatically selects best white balance for land (not for
underwater).
•
Underwater Shallow: Ideal for shooting underwater images and videos
at depths less than 25ft/8m.
•
Underwater Deep: Ideal for shooting underwater images and videos at
depths greater than 25ft/8m.
•
Daylight: Ideal for shooting outdoors in sunny conditions.
•
Cloudy: Ideal for shooting outdoors in cloudy conditions.
•
Tungsten: Ideal for shooting indoors under tungsten lighting
•
Fluorescent: Ideal for shooting indoors under fluorescent lighting
Exposure Compensation
This setting adjusts the camera’s auto exposure program to be slightly
overexposed or under-exposed. Increasing the value (+) results in a
brighter image exposure. Decreasing the value (-) results in a darker
image exposure. The Exposure Compensation values range from +2.0 to
-2.0 in 0.3 step increments. Each step is equivalent to 1 exposure stop.
