10. MAINTENANCE

GENERAL MAINTENANCE

Ensure the machine is unplugged from the power supply.

10.1.  Disconnect the hose from the container.

10.2.  Undo the clasps and remove motor head from the container.

10.3.  Clear out any dirt or debris from the container and hose.

10.4.  C

lean the foam filter by washing it in a mild soapy solution.

10.5.  Check that the telescopic suction tube operates smoothly, and check the power cable to make sure it has not received any damage.

10.6.  C

heck the O Ring (fig.4) on the mail connector (fig.1.33) for wear. Replace if necessary. from fig1.32.

andle the filter carefully when cleaning or installing. 

10.8. 

 Carefully remove the cartridge filter (A) and inspect it for damage. A filter that has small holes or tears in it will not perform efficiently and 

should be replaced.

o clean a dry filter, tap it inside a waste bin. (B)

DO NOT

 use a wet cartridge filter for dry vacuuming as the   filter will clog quickly. To clean a wet cartridge filter it should be  rinsed 

from the inside (B) and allowed to air dry for 24 hours.

To fit a new/cleaned filter slide it over the filter basket (C) and push it home fully.(D).
