Overheating.
Rotate plug in socket to improve contact. Clean out socket.
Turn on ignition.
Check and replace fuse if necessary.
Remove and refit connector or adaptor.
Check compressor, connector hose and item being inflated for leaks.
Check condition of vehicle battery/charging system.
Switch off compressor immediately and leave to cool for 30 minutes.
