The power button is mounted to the front of the computer and connected to the 12000 carrier
board with a short lead. It must be disconnected if the electronics are to be completely removed
from the computer chassis. This is not recommended unless necessary.
5. Carefully slide the lid and core electronics out of the rear end of the computer by no more than 2”.
The power button cable can remain plugged in if the board is moved no more than 2".
6. To reassemble, carefully slide the core electronics back into place ensuring the two cables are not
pinched between hard surfaces.
7. Carefully reinstall the 4 lid screws then reinstall the 4 end screws. Do not cross thread any screws.
For optimal reliability, apply a small amount of Loctite 242 Medium Strength threadlocker to the
threads of each screw. Torque screws between 3 in-lb and 5 in-lb.
