Instructions on how to keep servicing records
1. Every liferaft has two service log booklets:
• One to be put in the liferaft next to the equipment;
• One to be kept on board the vessel.
The two booklets must be kept up to date at every service interval.
2. The service log booklets of a liferaft always stay with the liferaft to which they were issued.
3. The liferaft is delivered complete with the regulation equipment and signalling equipment.
This equipment should always be kept with the liferaft.
4. The periodic service schedule operations to be carried out are laid down in the corresponding notes for each
type of liferaft. They must be completed only by an authorised Seago service stations, the list of which may
be obtained by request to
Seago Yachting ltd. or at www.seagoyachting.co.uk
Seago Yachting is not liable for any servicing operation carried out by an unauthorised service station.
5. In case of loss, theft, or ownership a copy of the booklet (in duplicate) must be requested from
Seago Yachting ltd. who will send a new copy (this will be chargeable).
