Why does GoFlex Satellite seem to shut down by itself?
GoFlex Satellite includes a power-save feature, which means that it enters a standby state
after 5 minutes of inactivity. GoFlex Satellite automatically returns to active mode whenever
someone attempts to access the device.
I know GoFlex Satellite is broadcasting, but why can’t I connect to it?
A maximum of three wireless-enabled devices can stream from GoFlex Satellite at once. If
there are already three devices streaming from GoFlex Satellite, you can either wait until a
spot opens up, or ask a user to disconnect from the device.
Decoding the GoFlex Satellite Lights
The lights on GoFlex Satellite change color and flash to indicate the status of the drive’s
power, battery charge and WiFi status. This section explains the meaning of the lights and
what to do if a problem occurs.

About the USB 3.0 Adapter Lights
The USB 3.0 adapter lights illuminate when the adapter is connected to your computer along
with the detachable USB 3.0 cable. The lights flicker when you are copying files to and from
the Satellite drive, and turn off when it is safe to disconnect GoFlex Satellite from your
computer.
