player. There are solutions available that provide ways to convert video files to different
formats so they can be played from most media players.
To play all movies or videos, select the Edit button > Select all button > Play button.
Playing Music
Select the Music folder on the GoFlex Media Home screen, and then select the song you
want to play. You can pause a song by tapping the screen on a tablet and then tapping the
pause icon or by clicking the pause button if you are using a browser:
To play all of your music files, select the Edit button > Select all button > Play button.
Viewing Photos
Select the Photos folder on the GoFlex Media Home screen, and then select the picture you
want to view.
To view all of your photos, select the Edit button > Select all button > Play button. You can
pause the slideshow by tapping the screen on a tablet and then tapping the pause icon or by
clicking the pause button if you are using a browser:
Viewing Documents
Select the Documents folder on the GoFlex Media Home screen, and then select the
document you want to view. Not all documents can be viewed on all devices.
Viewing Original Folder Structure
The Folder View, on the left side of the home screen, shows the original file and folder
structure from your computer.

Rather than listing formats that will likely change, I propose we simply state, “See the
specifications for your device for the latest list of supported file types.”
iPad :
• H.264 video up to 720p, 30 frames per second, Main Profile level 3.1 with AAC-LC audio
up to 160 Kbps, 48kHz, stereo audio in .m4v, .mp4, and .mov file formats
• MPEG-4 video, up to 2.5 Mbps, 640 by 480 pixels, 30 frames per second, Simple Profile
with AAC-LC audio up to 160 Kbps per channel, 48kHz, stereo audio in .m4v, .mp4, and
.mov file formats
• Motion JPEG (M-JPEG) up to 35 Mbps, 1280 by 720 pixels, 30 frames per second, audio
in ulaw, PCM stereo audio in .avi file format
