SEABEAR H3 automatic switch on

It is recommended to switch on the SEABEAR H3 before entering the water. However it is
possible, that a diver forgets to turn it on. The SEABEAR H3 therefore includes a
sophisticated algorithm, which detects the beginning of a dive and automatically turns it on,
even when the dive computer is in standby mode.

The algorithm measures the ambient pressure in intervals of 10s. If the diver starts a dive,
and the ambient pressure supersedes 1.1 bar absolute pressure, which equals to 1m depth
at sea level, or if the diver descends more than 1m/min, the SEABEAR H3 is switched on.

The automatic switch on feature can be activated or deactivated in menu
SETTINGS/DIVE/DIVE DETECTION/AUTO SWITCH ON.
