Bracket Requirements
Before installing the high pressure pump, you’ll need a bracket to mount it to the engine.
•
The pump must be mounted as level as possible with the oil dipstick on top of the unit.
•
The pump can be turned in either direction.
•
The bracket should be made of mild steel and painted prior to installation. (The “Z Rails”
provided in the kit are recommended.)
•
The bracket should include a method for tensioning the belt.

It is recommended that a qualified metal fabricator or mechanic build and install the
bracket.
