INDICATOR LED
S
ON: Lights up once the system is switched on and properly connected to the power mains.
SIGNAL: Lights up as soon as an audio signal is present.
LIMIT: Lights up if the system is operating in the clipping range. Brief
fl
ashing is not a cause for concern,
since the internal audio limiter compensates for over-modulation. Permanent illumination should be avoided
by reducing the volume.
PROTECT:Lights up when one of the power ampli
fi
er protection circuits is active. To protect the power
ampli
fi
ers and the speakers, the speaker outputs are deactivated in protect mode. Once the source of the
trouble has been eliminated (e.g., overloading), after a short time, the power ampli
fi
er returns to normal
status, the Protect LED goes out, and the system is operational again.
