Step: 2. Mount the assembly with the drum bar on
the outside and the guide bar next to the
machine.
Step: 3. Before tightening the screw, angle the
drum bar as shown in Fig. 3-47. .

Step: 4. Mount the roll of tape.
Step: 5. Position the tape guide bar holding the
collars so that the tape comes off about
4” from the applying roller. The tape
guide will insure that the tape is put on
the paper properly.
Step: 6. The amount of “drag” can be adjusted by
changing the pressure on the spring on
the drum. To do this loosen or tighten the
nuts.
