DRIVING
Scoozy has 2 speed settings: D and S.
Select a suitable speed setting for every situation:
Speed setting D: Indoors, in stores, and on the pavement.
Speed setting S: On roads and cycle paths.
The maximum speed in D is 6 km/h and in S 15 km/h. It is possible
to adjust the maximum speed according to personal preference
(see 3.3).
Select the desired setting using the D (2H) and S (2G) buttons. The
LED Indicator (2F) will light up above the button of the chosen
setting and a D or S will be displayed in the lower left corner of
your screen.
In S, the lighting switches on automatically and the brake lights
are activated.
BRAKING
Scoozy has 4 ways of stopping:
1.
Move the Joystick (3A) to the middle position;
This allows you to roll out gently to 0 km/h. You don’t
always get the minimum braking distance set in EN 12184.
2. Pull the joystick backwards;
As a result, Scoozy brakes proportionally to 100% braking
power.
3. Press the Stop button (2E);
This button has a similar effect to the emergency stop.
4. Put Scoozy in standby with the On/Off switch (2C);
This causes Scoozy to brake mechanically to 0 km/h. Pay
attention! The wheels can lock on wet or slippery surfaces
In the event of a major failure of the system, Scoozy will activate
the mechanical fail-safe brake. This allows Scoozy to come to a
safe stop in any situation.
