If the plastic centering sleeve of the distributor ring becomes worn
slightly at the weight-loaded upper point of contact with the chuck
body over time, it can be turned further by one third by removing
the three hexagon socket screws. The three hexagon socket
screws hold the two parts of the distributor ring and the plastic
centering sleeve together.
The plastic centering sleeve must be inserted in such a way that
the slotted location is on one of the three bore holes of the dis-
tributor ring. The flat surface of the chuck body which is raised in
the area of the distributor ring prevents the penetration of dirt
and chips between the distributor ring and the chuck body.
The hexagon socket screws of the distributor ring should be lightly
tightened. The two parts of the distributor ring can be realigned with
each other only by light knocking. Retighten the screws.
The profile seals only begin to wear if the chuck is actuated by the
control unit during the rotation, which is generally prevented by
the connection of the electrical interlock to the machine.
