5.10 Systemintegration
5.10.1 Compatibility
The
Motion Tool Schunk (MTS)
configuration and commissioning
tool and the
Schunk Motion Protocol (SMP)
firmware are not
backward compatible. This means that the versions of
MTS
and
SMP
must always be the same, or that
MTS
must have the same or
higher designation than
SMP
within one version.
If the
MTS
version and the
SMP
version are not the same, the
product may end up in an undefined status during
parameterization.
