The tool must not be used by children or people unfamiliar with its use;

Do not use the tool barefoot, in wet or very humid places, as this increases the risk of electric shock;

For protection against electric shock, it is recommended to install a residual current circuit breaker.  
Consult an electrician to select and install this safety device;

To reduce the risks of electric shock, when using your tool, do not touch metal surfaces attached to 
the ground or grounded, such as pipes, motors, gutters, fences, windows, doors, metal gates, etc;

Do not make splices in the cord. If required, ask for a power cord replacement at the nearest Schulz 
Technical Assistance;

6. 

Do not use your tool while tired, under the infl uence of medication, alcohol or drugs. Lack of atten-
tion during operation may result in serious personal injury;

READ AND UNDERSTAND THE INFORMATION IN THIS MANUAL BEFORE USING YOUR ELEC-
TRIC TOOL. 

Purpose and Application:

This tool was designed for domestic or hobby use. It meets high effi ciency and quality standards, which guarante-
es the best performance and the longest life span, it should be used for sanding wood, metal, plastic and painted 
surfaces with moderate abrasive force.

When using this product, basic safety precautions described in the SAFETY INSTRUC-

TIONS must be observed to reduce the risks and prevent personal or material damage to your equipment.

This product was designed and manufactured according to the existing applicable standards such as: EN 1012-1, 
ABNT NBR NM 60335-1:2010, NR12 (Aspects relating to product design and manufacture, installation, training 
and other actions also required to meet the NR12, are the sole responsibility of the customer), and NR13.

3. EQUIPMENT INSPECTION

A. 

Inspect and check if damages were caused by transport. If so, immediately contact the transportation com-
pany.

B. 

Certify that all damaged parts are replaced and that all mechanical and electrical problems are solved before 
operating the equipment.

C. 

 Don’t turn on the equipment if it is not in perfect working conditions.

D. 

 Write the compressor´s serial number, which is located on the nameplate fastened to the compressor, in the 
SERVICING chapter of this manual.
