Painted or treated surfaces are subject to damages caused by the high-pressure wa-
sher. Before cleaning vehicles, for example, always read the manufacturer’s information, and if the surfaces
can be washed using high-pressure jets or if there is any restriction. In this case, do not use the pressure
washer for this task.
Some general useful precautions are:
Never position the nozzle closer than 30cm away from the surface to be cleaned.
Never use the pressure washer to clean surfaces with loose, unprotected or fragile paint, or paint over loose
elements etc.
Always keep the nozzle moving over the surface. Do not keep the jet at the same point for a too long period,
because it might damage the surface.
Note:
when in doubt, check the information about the object or the surface to be cleaned with the manufac-
turer.
ATTENTION
SHUTDOWN SYSTEM
Your pressure washer is equipped with a shutdown system that helps protect the motor from overloads. If the gun
trigger is released, the motor stops to avoid excessive pressure. When the trigger is pulled, the motor restarts
automatically.
TURNING YOUR PRESSURE WASHER OFF AFTER USE
After using the pressure washer, follow the procedures below to turn off and disconnect the equipment:
1.
Press the On/Off button (O) to turn the pressure washer off.
2.
Close the water inlet flow regulator valve.
3.
Discharge the water from the pump and hose by pulling the gun trigger (keep it pressed for some seconds until
water stops coming out through the nozzle).
4.
Lock the trigger in the OFF position.
5.
Disconnect the plug from the power outlet.
HOW TO USE THE TELESCOPIC HANDLE (1450W, 1700W and 2000W Models)
When it’s necessary to move the pressure washer, pull the telescopic handle. After moving, push the telescopic
handle. See Figure 8.16.
USING THE HOSE REEL (2000W and 2600W Model)
To extend or shorten the reach of the hose, unwind or wind the hose on the reel as shown in Figures 8.17 and
8.18 (hose winds up clockwise).
