Cleaning and maintenance

Hygiene function

The hygiene function ensures the wash-
ing machine remains clean even when 
using a low temperature programme.  
If the temperature of the previous wash 
cycle was under 60 °C, the message 
« Autoclean 70 °C» will automatically 
appear in the display when you select 
another programme under 60 °C.

 

►

You now have the choice to either 
switch to a 60 °C or 95 °C programme, 
or first run the hygiene programme to 
clean the machine.

To begin washing without first running 
the hygiene programme, press

Notice

Never place laundry in the machine or 
use laundry detergents when running 
the hygiene programme!

 

Caution

Under no circumstances spray the 
machine with water.

Do not use a steam cleaner.

Notice

Solvents can damage parts of the 
 machine, produce poisonous vapour and
carry the risk of explosion.
Do not use cleaning agents containing 
solvents.

Cleaning the machine

Do not use abrasive cleaning agents. 

 

►

Never scratch or scrape with sharp 
objects.

Casings and control areas should only 
be cleaned with soap or a commercially 
available, solvent-free, non-abrasive 
cleaning product.
