In the case of washing machines with a hot water connection, the following must be borne in mind:
The maximum permissible hot water temperature is 70°C.
l Only cold water is added in the pre-wash and woollens programmes.
l In the temperature range above 30°C, the water is automatically mixed to the programmed washing temperature.
l In the case of blood or protein-stained fabrics, always select a programme with a pre-wash cycle, to ensure that the stains are washed out at less than
30°C
and do not become bonded to the fabric at higher temperatures in the main wash cycle.
