Operation with
recirculated air
One active charcoal filter is needed for this and can
be obtained from your usual retailer.
The filter removes the grease and smells from the
extracted air before sending it back into the room
through the upper outlet grid.
The carbon filter may be washed in hot water and
suitable detergent or in dishwasher at 65°C (for
cleaning in dishwasher ensure to run full wash cycle
with filters only and no crockery).
Remove excess water without damaging filter, then
remove the sponge from inside the plastic grill and
place in oven for 10 minutes at 100°C for drying.
Replace sponge every 3 years or when damaged.
Mounting and replacing the active charcoal filter:
•
Disconnect the hood from the electricity.
• Remove the metal grease filters.
Remove the metal grease filters using the handles
designed for this purpose by pulling the handle
downwards (Diagram 3).
•
Remove the frame i which supports the filter h by
turning 90° the two knobs g.
• Insert the charcoal filter inside the frame and put all
parts back in their place. Diagram 4.
• Refit the the metal grease filters.
