4 Service and Maintenance
Stroboscope is easy to maintain.
4.1 Flash Tube Replacement
When rpm reading is displayed but unit is not
flashing, flash tube may need to be replaced:
1. Unplug line cord from power line.
2. Turn power switch off (wait a few minutes
until stroboscope is cool before proceeding).
3. Remove protective window by removing the
4 screws (fig. 4.1a).
4. Use tube removing tool provided with the
pare tube:
Insert tool all the way and turn clock-wise
until tool unlocks (fig. 4.1b).
Pull out tube (fig. 4.1c and fig. 4.1d).
5. Install new flash tube using the removing
tool (in the opposite direction fig. 4.1d)
and turn counter-clockwise until tool locks (fig.4.1b).
6. Replace window (fig. 4.1a).
7. Mount reflector in the center so that the reflector
will not interfere with the screw spacer on the
corners.
