COMMISSIONING
30.30.01.00559/05 | 06.2020
Now integrate the signal into the machine control unit so that the workpiece can only be machined once
the relevant signal has been received from the VOC and so that the current machining process is
interrupted when the signal is no longer transmitted.
5.1.3 Connecting the vacuum and the liquid feedback
The Vacuum-Operation-Center must be connected to the clamping device via the vacuum connection,
item [1], using an appropriate vacuum hose (cf. Chapter 3 "Technical Data").
The feedback of the liquid that has been sucked in via connection item [6] must also be connected to a
suitable container with a vacuum hose (cf. Chapter 3 "Technical Data").
With the return of the coolant in the BAZ and the collecting an appropriate slope for liquid level of BAZ
must be guaranteed..
5.1.4 Connecting the compressed air supply
The Vacuum-Operation-Center must be connected to the compressed air supply via an appropriate
compressed air connection, item [4], (cf. Chapter 3 "Technical Data").
The compressed air must be filtered, dry and free of oil.
An input pressure of 6 bar is required to operate the VOC. This is restricted to the required operating
pressure of 4 bar by the preset pressure regulator, item [9]. The VOC may only be operated at 4 bar.
IMPORTANT:
The function of the valves, the seal and the targeted storage and feedback of the liquid is
no longer ensured at an operating pressure of less than 4 bar.
IMPORTANT:
An operating pressure above 4 bar results in the considerably higher wear of some
components. The function of the valves, the seal and the targeted storage and feedback of the liquid is
then no longer ensured.
