- If the load breaks free as a result of a collision 

 

- If components fail because of overloading or unauthorized 

modifications 

 

 

There is a risk of death or serious injury from hitting people in the vicinity. 

►  No person may sit or stand in the danger zone of the load. 

► 

Suitable protective equipment must be worn prior to transport. 

 

►  Do not operate unless you have a clear view of the entire working area. 

►  Pay attention to other people in the working area. 

►  Never lift loads at an angle and never drag or pull them. 

►  Only lift suitable loads (test their intrinsic stability). 

► 

The working area must be secured by the user/operator. The 
persons/equipment necessary to secure this area must be present during the 
lifting/transportation process.  

 

 

►  The maximum load must not be exceeded. 

►  Never transport the load above people. 

►  Observe the working area. Do not start up limit stops in normal operation. 

►  Do not set down any parts on the jib crane as they will fall off when working 

with the jib crane. 

 

6.2  Operation 

The jib crane enables hoists to be used within the operating range of the jib crane. 

Hoists that have been designed for use on a jib crane are to be operated in accordance with the 
instructions of the hoist manufacturer in observance of section 6.1.  
Observe the operating range of the jib crane.

or animals, or as a climbing aid.

 

 

 

This can result in broken bones, serious injury or even death.
