BLADE HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT

To adjust blade height:

1.  Lower the blades to the operating position by

moving the lift lever forward.

2.  Turn the adjusting knob to raise or lower the front

wheels .  Make the initial adjustment on a hard

level surface.

3. Set

flail blades or spring tines

 to 1/8” (3mm)

above the surface initially.  Test this setting on a

small area, then, adjust to conditions as required.

Each mark on the adjustment label equals 1/8”

(3mm).

OR

 Set

fixed

blades 1/8” above the surface for

dethatching or verticutting, 1/8” (3mm) below the

surface for seeding.  Test the setting on a small

area and adjust to conditions as required.

If the desired position cannot be obtained

with the front wheels , the rear wheels may be

remounted.  The top set of holes lowers the

blades, the bottom set raises the blades.
