ASSEMBLY/SET-UP INSTRUCTIONS

ThROTTLE CABLE INSTALLATION/ADJUSTMENT

NOTE:

Ensure that the throttle lever on the

equipment has been linked to the engine with the
throttle cable. See graphic on Page 17.

1. Leave the cable clamp bolts

loose.

2. Align the hole

in the speed control lever

with the hole

in the base plate

by moving

the lever

. Insert 6mm dia. pin (or 6mm bolt)

through two holes.

3. Pull up the outer housing

of the throttle cable

until the inner wire

has almost no slack, and

tighten the cable clamp bolt

. Remove the 6mm

dia. pin.

NOTE:

Make sure that the carburetor choke valve

is closed completely when the throttle lever on

the equipment is moved to CHOKE position. If not,
perform CHOKE ADJUSTMENT.

TYPE

1. Stop the engine.

2. Align the hole

in the speed control lever

with the hole

in the base plate

by moving

the lever

. Insert 6mm dia. pin (or 6mm bolt)

through two holes.

3. Turn the choke setting screw

so that the

clearance between the screw end and the tongue
of the lever

is zero. Remove the 6mm dia. pin

or bolt.

NOTE:

Make sure that the coke valve can move to

full open side and full close side by turning the lever.
