Installation Instructions
STANDARD SECTIONS (PIPES,TEES AND ELBOWS)
All flue gas bearing components must be installed with the male spigot pointing towards the
appliance.
With the exception of the direct connection to the appliance, there is no requirement to apply
sealant to the joints of the Prima Plus system.
CONNECTING TO AN APPLIANCE
The male spigot is pushed inside the appliance outlet. The joint should then be sealed to suit
each application.
APPLIANCE CONNECTOR - NON CONDENSING GAS /OIL /SOLID FUEL
The joint between the connecting flue pipe and the appliance should be securely caulked and
sealed using non asbestos fibre rope (or alternative) and fire cement.
CONDENSING/IMPERIAL APPLIANCE CONNECTOR
The joint between the Appliance connector and the appliance outlet should be sealed with
silicone sealant (or alternative) when used on condensing appliances.
