Electrical start connection (fig. 13, 14)
In order to be able to use the electric start, both con-
nectors must be fitted together.
9. Sweeper Operation

Engine oil
• The oil has been drained for transport.
•
If the oil tank is not filled with oil before the engine
is started, this will result in permanent damage to
the engine and a loss of the engine warranty.
• Please note that the sweeper machine is delivered
without being filled with fuel or oil.
• Use standard engine oil. (10W-30 / 10W-40), fill
quantity ca. 0.6 l.

Fuel
• Fill the fuel tank with clean fuel with min. 90 octane
rating and max. 5% bio-ethanol content.

Attention! The device may not be operated
with E10 petrol.
Adjusting the steering bar height
Set the steering bar to a working height that you find
comfortable. To do so, use the handle (14) on the
underside of the steering bar.

Starting the engine
1. Set the throttle (15) to the “CHOKE” position
2. Actuate the primer pump 1x - 4x depending on
the temperature, see sticker on the air filter.
3. Pull out the pull cord until resistance can be felt,
then pull back forcefully in a single stroke. If the
engine does not start, pull on the cord again.
4. Once the engine starts to run, slowly move the
throttle level to the “START” position.
5. After the engine has warmed up, move the throt-
tle level to a position between max. and min.,
depending on the desired speed.
Starting the engine with the electric starter
(fig. 16)
In order to ensure that the machine is not started un-
intentionally, the starter button should be removed
from the machine and stored securely.
The noise emission values were determined accord-
ing to EN ISO 3744 for the sound power or EN ISO
11201 for sound pressure.

8. Assembly (fig. 2 - 14)
Following the assembly directions below, you will as -
semble the machine in a few minutes.
To assemble the collector box and the plow
blade see separate assembly instructions.
The sweeper machine is almost completely as-
sembled in the factory ready for use. Only a few
parts need still be assembled.
Installing the steering bar (fig. 7)
Fit the steering bar (3) to the fastening bolts (7b)
on the machine. Now tighten the self-locking nuts
M10 (7a).
Installing the swivel bar (fig. 8 - 9)
Attach the swivel bar (3) with the self-locking nut
M10, spring and washers provided, in the order
shown in fig. 9. Then press the swivel bar (3) down
onto the threaded rod (8d) and tighten the nut (8a).
Installing the guards (fig. 2, 10)
Fit the guards on the left (10a) and right (10b) of
the sweeper machine. Fasten these with the screws
(10b) (M8 x 12 mm) and self-locking nuts M8 pro-
vided.
Installing the gear selector lever (fig. 2, 11)
Fasten the gear selector lever (6) with the help of
the fillister head screws (11a) (M6 x 22 mm) and
self-locking nuts (11b).
If the gear selector lever is fitted to a new machine,
select hole no. 1 on the bracket for the gear selector
lever. After 100 hours of operating time or if you have
the impression that the speed has dropped, change
to hole no. 2.
Installing the brushes (fig. 3, 5, 12)
Feed the brush shaft through the brushing roller (9)
and then feed the shaft through the drive unit. (Fig.
12a-12c) Slide on the second brushing roller and in
doing so ensure that the grooves of the brushing
roller match with the lobes of the drive unit (fig. 12c).
Fit the shaped disc and the large washer (fig. 12d),
screw on the self-locking nut (M10) and tighten.
