Weed killers can be dangerous if used inappro-
priately. The spray must not be directed towards
people, animals, active electrical equipment or the
machine itself.
•
Only ever use the machine on an even and stable
surface.
•
Never direct the spray towards yourself or others in
order to clean clothing or shoes.
•
Wear safety clothing and goggles to protect yourself
against water or dirt splashing back.
•
Do not use the machine if there are others close by,
unless they are wearing safety clothing.
•
Apply appropriate action to keep children away from
the running machine.
•
Dispose of the packaging material in accordance
with stipulations.
•
Do not use the machine close to flammable liquids
or gases. In the event of non-compliance, there is a
risk of fire and explosion.
•
Do not use flammable, poisonous or corrosive liq-
uids.
•
If you come in contact with detergents, fertilisers,
fungicides, pesticides or herbicides, rinse the af-
fected part with plenty of clean water.
•
Store the machine in a dry place beyond the reach
of children.
•
Do not operate the machine without water in the
container.
•
Never leave the machine running unsupervised.
•
If using the machine close to children, strict supervi-
sion is essential. This machine is not a toy.
•
This machine must not be exposed to rain.
•
Do not overfill the water container. Overfilling the
water container can cause damage and injury.
•
Do not fill the water container with liquids other than
water. Other detergents can damage the machine or
cause injury.
•
Do not turn the machine over and never tilt in more
than 10° when in operation.
•
Do not use this machine to clean electronic devices
or installations. Do not operate the machine for long-
er than 1 hour at a time.
•
Do not immerse the cable, the plug or the machine
in water or other liquids.
•
Do not operate the machine if the power cable is
damaged. If the power cable is damaged or the ma-
chine demonstrates faulty performance, it must be
repaired by a qualified electrician.
•
Hair, loose clothing, fingers, feet and all body parts
should be kept away from the water jet. Do not op-
erate the machine barefoot or wearing open-toed
shoes or sandals.
•
Disconnect the power before carrying out mainte-
nance work.
•
Never pull or carry the machine by the cable, do not
use the cable as a handle, do not shut doors on the
cable or pull it around sharp edges or corners.
•
Keep the cable away from hot surfaces.
•
Disconnect the plug when the machine is not being
used. Turn off all operating elements before discon-
necting the machine from the power supply.
•
Do not disconnect the plug by pulling the cable
from the mains. Pull on the plug, not the cable. Do
not touch the plug or operate the machine with wet
hands.
•
Store it in a dry place.
•
Do not expose the machine to sub-zero tempera-
tures.
•
Only ever use original spare parts. Check the ma-
chine and the cable at regular intervals. Do not turn
on the machine if it is damaged.
•
Do not place the machine on a wet surface and do
not operate it close to a water source.
Additionally, current accident prevention regulations
must be strictly complied with. Other general rules
concerning occupational health and safety must be
observed.

Even when you use the machine for its intended pur-
pose, certain risks remain that cannot be completely
avoided. Based on the construction and setup of the
machine, the following risks may occur:
• Contact with hot water (risk of scalding)
• There is a danger to life when touching live machine
parts. Disconnect the machine from the mains power
for all assembly, disassembly and repair work.
• Careless treatment of personal protective equipment
during operation of the machine, maintenance and
repair work as well as during cleaning and disinfec-
tion can cause severe external and internal injuries.
Always wear your stipulated personal protective
equipment.
• Unqualified staff may pose a risk of incorrect fault
clearance or faulty maintenance and repair work.
Fault clearance and maintenance work must exclu-
sively be carried out by specialists.
• Despite all safety measures, non-obvious risks may
remain.
• These remaining risks can be minimised if you ob-
serve the safety instructions at the beginning of the
individual chapters as well as the operating manual
in general.
