26. TROUBLE SHOOTING

Engine will not run

Wont idle

Oil/Grease on disc

Degrease disc and caliper

Poor Braking

Brake Pads worn

Fuel Leak under bike

Fuel tap left on 

Switch fuel tap to off position

Chain falls off 

Chain loose /stretched

Adjust chain tension

Engine will not start

Choke is in off position

Switch choke to on position 

Possible no spark

Check /replace spark plug
Return to service Agent for repair

Choke is in the on position

Check top up fluid level and/or brake 

lines for fracture/leaking

Air cleaner blocked

Clean/replace air cleaner

Suggested Fix

Emergency cease fire not fitted

Fit emergency ceasefire

Adjust idle speed (ar. 2800r/min)

Clutch seized

Switch Choke to off position

Return to service Agent for repair

No fluid in reservior

Switch fuel tap to on position
