SET MOTION DETECT
You will use this setting to set where motion should be detection in your camera’s view.
For example, if you the camera to ignore the area where your fish tank is, you will enter this
setting and remove detection in the area of your fish tank.
You should adjust this setting when the camera is in place.
1. In the Main Menu, highlight Set Motion Detect. Press OK to enter.
2. Choose Set MD Area. Press OK to enter.
3. By default, the entire area is covered in red blocks. This means that motion is being
detected in every block.
4. Use the PLAY button in the upper left of your remote to choose the EDIT MODE. You can
edit block by block, or erase all the blocks. For this example, choose CELL EDIT.
5. Use the arrow buttons on the remote to move around to where your fish tank or other
object you want to ignore is in view. Press the OK button to remove the red block from this
section. Keep moving and removing until you entire fish tank or other subject is no longer
covered in red.
6. To save this, use the BACK button to leave the block edit screen. Remember, motion will
no longer be detected in the areas NOT covered in red.
7. You can also adjust the sensitivity of the Motion Detection using the Set MD Sensitivity
option. Click OK to enter this option.
8. Use the LEFT / RIGHT arrow keys to adjust the MD Threshold. This will determine how
much activity it will take before your device starts recording. Please test this setting and
adjust to fit your needs.
9. Press BACK to go back to the Main Menu.
