Warning
Layout
• This product is suitable for mounting in a ceiling.
The optimum mounting distances are shown in the
diagram on the right.
• Avoid pointing at or positioning close to heat
sources such as flues or heat extraction units, which
may cause false triggering.
• Avoid pointing at bright lights as unit will not
function when you set Lux control level to dark
• Avoid locating near electromagnetic fields
Installation
• Taking care not to damage any concealed wiring or
pipes, cut a 60mm diameter hole.
• Remove the plastic cover from the terminals.
Remove cable clamp screws and cable clap (A) and
set aside for later. Pull-off the plastic terminal cover.
Connect the cables to the terminals: Live mains
supply to terminal marked (L up arrow) Neutral
mains supply to terminal marked N. Connect the live
wire of the output cable to the terminal marked (L
down arrow) Connect the neutral cable of the output
cable to terminal marked N.
Ensure all connections are tight. Route cables
through cable clamp and refit clamp ensuring cables
are held securely.
• Refit the plastic cover.
• Adjust the PIR sensor as detailed below.
• Push the fitting into the ceiling to secure in place.
• Replace fuse or circuit breaker and switch on. Your
light is now ready for use.
This product is Double Insulated and does
not require connection to an Earth circuit.

This unit must be fitted by a competent and qualified
electrician.
Install in accordance with IEE Wiring regulations and
current Building Regulations.
To prevent electrocution switch off at mains supply
before installing or maintaining this fitting. Ensure
other persons cannot restore the electrical supply
without your knowledge.
This unit should be connected to a fused circuit.
If replacing an existing fitting, make a careful note of
the connections.
This product is not suitable for dimming.

with household waste. Please recycle where facilities
exist. Check with your local authority or retailer for

This unit is only suitable for indoor use.
PIR Adjustment
The PIR sensor has a fixed detection field of 9m
diameter at a distance of 2.8m. It can be adjusted
for duration the lamp stays on ("TIME" screw) and
the light level that the switch activates ("LUX" screw).
