2 / INSTALLING YOUR APPLIANCE
EN
Tip
For optimal use of your appliance, we
recommend that you connect the hood to a 150
mm-diameter flue (not delivered with the
appliance). Minimise the number of angles and
bends and the lengths of the flue. In the event
that the hood will be operated using out-door
evacuation, you should ensure a sufficient
inflow of fresh air to avoid a pressure deficiency
in the room.
Adjust the height of the telescopic structure using
the 4 retaining screws C (Fig. 6) bearing in mind
that the height of the hood is 86 mm and that the
distance of the hood from the hob must be at least
650 mm (Fig.7).
Take the upper flue (with the round slots) and fit it
on the telescopic structure with the slots facing
downwards; fit the flue to the bracket with 2
screws (Fig. 8). Take the lower flue and fit it in the
same manner as before; slide it to the top and stop
it in that position using a screw inserted in the hole
of the upper flue as a catch (Fig.9).
Take the flange with the non-return valve H (Fig.10)
and fit it on the air vent of your hood exercising
slight pressure.
NON-RETURN VALVE
If installing the ducting version, fitting the non-return
valve hinders air intake and return. Before securing
the valve, check that the tabs can move freely H
(Fig. 10).
- Secure the hood to the telescopic structure by
means of 4 screws (provided) - Fig.11.
- Through the openings D (Fig.11) secure the air
exhaust pipe to the flange (H).
- Make the electrical connection by means of the
power cable.
- Remove the screw used as catch and slide the
lower flure downwards, placing it gently on the
apparatus.
