Push open the slide lever
(purple) outward.
The printer head will be
released.

Pull the printer head forward, and
disconnect the connector at two
places.

Replacing printer head

Lift up the main cover.
Do as described in Step 1 of “Setting roll paper.”

Lower the head open lever (purple / Open).
The printer head will open.
Do as described in Step 2 of “Setting roll paper.”

• Immediately after printing, the printer head and the surrounding area are hot. When you replace the printer

head immediately after printing, be careful not to burn yourself.

• If you touch the edge of the printer head with bare hands, you may be injured. Be careful in replacing the

printer head so that you will not hurt yourself.

Caution

Replace the head after turning off the power.
If a carbon ribbon is used, remove it from the main body.
