4.4.2 Inspection of heating element and sensor assembly
Unplug the plug and determine the resistance between the pins of the connecting plug after the heating element cools down to room
temperature.

If the resistances "a" and "b" are different from those listed in the table below, replace the heating element or the sensor

If the resistance "c" is greater than that listed in the following table, gently wipe the oxide layer at the connection between the
soldering bit and the heating element with abrasive paper or steel wool.

Caution: The resistances b and c shall be measured with soldering bit installed on the soldering iron.
4.4.3 Replacement of heating element and sensor assembly

Disassemble the handle as described above, unscrew the set screws between the heating element and the terminal block, and then
remove the lead wires of the heating element from the terminal block. Take out the broken heating element and replace it with a
new one.

After replacing the heating element, test it according to "4.4.4 Testing of Heating Element" below and confirm it before installation.

Replacement of sensor assembly: Pull out the 2 pins fixing the sensor from the heating core element, take out the sensor assembly,
and replace it with a new one.

nstall the sensor assembly in the order reverse to removal. Insert the sensor probe into the sensor jack of the heating element.

Weld the lead wires of the heating element and the sensor assembly in the order reverse to removal, tighten the set screws,
and then insert the assembly into the handle in place. When inserting the heating assembly, ensure that the protruding portion is
inserted into the groove of the handle.

）
Install the soldering bit and tighten the lock nut.
Caution: Pull the heating element out of the handle with a heat insulation pad instead of a metal tool
