Entering Numbers, Symbols, Preset Suffix and Smileys

Entering SYMBOLS

To enter symbols:
1.

In a text entry field, press

Mode

(right softkey).

Select

SYMBOL

and press MENU/OK.

Select the line that includes your desired symbol.

Press the corresponding key (1 ~ 8) with each symbol.

Select your desired symbol by using the navigation key, and press MENU/OK.

Entering NUMBERS

To enter numbers:
1.

In a text entry field, press

(right softkey).

Select

NUMBER

and press MENU/OK.

Press the corresponding numeric key to enter the number.

Shortcut

: Press and hold the corresponding number key to enter the number directory in

alphabet mode or T9 mode.

Entering PRESET SUFFIXES

To enter preset suffixes:
1.

In a text entry field, press

Mode

(right softkey).

Select

PRESET SUFFIX

and press MENU/OK.

Select your desired word by using the navigation key and press MENU/OK.

Entering SMILEYS

To enter smile pictures (“emoticons”)
1. In a text entry field, press

Mode

(right softkey).

2. Select

SMILEYS

3. Select the line that includes your desired smiley.
4. Press the corresponding key (1~4) with each smiley.

Tip

When you see triangles on the left and right of the menu, you can press the navigation key

left or right to switch between different input modes.
