Making Calls
1.
Make sure your phone is on.
2.
Enter a phone number from standby mode. (If you make a
mistake while entering, press
to delete one digit at a
time. Press and hold to delete the entire number.)
3.
Press or .
4.
When you are finished, press or close the phone.
Tip: You can also place calls from your phone by using speed dialling (page
24), your History listings (page 58), and Automatic Speech Recognition
(ASR, page 81).
To redial your most recent call, press twice.
Dialling Options
Dialling options are displayed when you press
Options
(right
softkey) after entering numbers in standby mode:

Contacts Match
to place a call using the Contacts Match
feature. (If applicable. See “Using Contacts Match” on
page 24.)

Save
to save the phone number in your Contacts. (See
“Saving a Phone Number” on page 21.)

Hard Pause
to insert a hard pause. (See “Dialling and
Saving Phone Numbers With Pauses” on page 22.)
v
2-Sec. Pause
to insert a two-second pause. (See “Dialling
and Saving Phone Numbers With Pauses” on page 22.)
