7-4. How to Test Run the Air Conditioner
(1) Switch on the power source.
(2) When the air conditioner is not running, hold
down the OPERATION button for at least 3 sec-
onds. This starts the fan, producing uncooled
forced air with the OPERATION lamp lit. (Fig. 6)
(3) After 3 minutes, the system shifts into cooling
operation, and cool air will start to be felt. Cooling
operation in the Test Run mode is unaffected
by the room temperature.
(4) Press the OPERATION button again to stop the
test run. At this time, you do not need to hold
down the button for 3 seconds.

CAUTION
To protect the air conditioner from overloading
do not leave the unit in Test Run mode. Test Run
is used for pump down and only for servicing
the air conditioner.
