Defrosting Flowchart in Heating

At the beginning and end of the defrosting operation, you may hear a loud noise lasting several seconds. This is

not a malfunction. It is the sound of the 4–way valve switching and the sound of the refrigerant when the 4–way

valve changes the direction of refrigerant flow.
