Common-trouble judging flow chart
Connect the power.
Check if the indicator
lights red.
Yes, then press
POWER button.
Check if the indicator
lights blue.
Yes
Check if the screen
lights up.
Yes
Check if every source
video display is normal.
Check if every source
sound is normal.
No
Check if power supply or
infrared sensor board has trouble,
or power cord problem.
No
Check if main chip (MST6E16)
pin44 waveform is sine wave,
FLASH pin6 waveform is square-
wave. Check main chip peripheral
circuit and FLASH/EEPROM
peripheral circuit.
Check backlight board, then
check main chip pin81 backlight
control status.
No
Check if signal from its
input to IC pin is normal. If
normal, then check IC and
its periphery, and LVDS
output.
No
Check if signal from its
input to IC pin is normal.
If normal, then check IC
and its periphery
