Setting up the timer

You can set the timer to record, play ﬁle, or activate the beep sound at a designated time.
The procedures to set timer recording and timer playback are slightly different.

Remaining battery power (page 23)
Setting the calendar (date & time) (page 28)

Turn on the power. When the unit stops,
press the MENU/PLAY LIST button.

Press the VOL (+/–) button to select
“COMMON MENU”, and then press the

/OK button.

Press the VOL (+/–) button to select
“TIMER & ALARM”, and then press the

/OK button.

4

Press the VOL (+/–) button to select a
setting, and then press the

/OK button.

For information on how to change each setting,
see pages 67 to 70.
