Folder/File selection

1.  In stop mode or during play, press the FOLDER/C or - 

button to select the desired folder.

2. Press

button to select desired track. Then press the 

button to start play.

 

In playing mode, play starts automatically.

Repeat / Random play

Press the PLAY MODE button repeatedly before or during play to select 
various play modes available.
Each time the button is pressed, the play mode changes as shown 
below:

2.   Press the FOLDER/C or - button to select desired folder.

4.   Press the PROGRAM/CLOCK button.
5.   Repeat 2 ~ 4 steps to programme additional tracks.
6.   Press the

 button to start programmed play.

7.   Press the

 button at any time to stop the programmed play.

-   To cancel programmed play, press the 

n

 button twice during play.

Note:
Other various playback operations, please refer to the descriptions in 
CD PLAY (page 6).

Limitations on the display

Available letters for display are the following: capital alphabets of A 
through Z, numbers of 0 through 9, and _ (underline).

Note:
-   Some MP3/WMA CDs cannot be played depending on the recording
 conditions.

-   Do not make an empty folder. It may not work correctly.

Basic playback

1.   Load the MP3/WMA CD.
 

“READING” blinks, then the total folder number and total track 
number appear on the display.

 

Example: For an MP3 and WMA mixed CD.

2.   Press the FOLDER/C or - button to select the desired 

folder.

3.   Press the 

e

 or 

f

 button to select the desired track.

4.   Press the 

i

 button to start play.

Note:
For the MP3 and WMA mixed CD, both “WMA” and “MP3” remain on the 
display except playing mode.
If current playing track is MP3 

fi

 le, only “MP3” appears.

If current playing track is WMA 

fi

 le, only “WMA” appears.

Display selection

The ID3-Tag is an information 

fi

 eld for MP3/WMA. Album name, music 

title and artist name can be stored into the tag. This unit shows this 
information.
Press the DISPLAY button on the remote control during play.
Each time the button is pressed, the display changes and scrolls over on 
the display in the following sequence:
ALBUM( album name)

v

ARTIST(artist name)

v

TITLE(music title)...

After the information scrolls over, the playing display returns.
