6. Installation

UPS weight

•

Install the UPS in the place where the mass of UPS can withstand as

manual.

•

Install the UPS in a flat place where the UPS does not fall down or drop.

Personnel injury may be occurred.

•

Always install the UPS in a place where the vibration and/or impact are

minimized.

•

At delivery and installation, be careful for our lower back pain.

The UPS may fall down or drop during relocation or installation. Always

hold the corner of the up side of UPS securely. Failure to do so may cause

the UPS to malfunction and/or personal injury.

6.1 Environment

Never place the UPS the following places

•

The place where the ambient temperature exceeds 40

℃

It is recommended that UPS is normally operated and controlled at an ambient
temperature of 20-25

℃

considering the battry life characteristic

•

The place where in high humidity.

•

The place where has corrosive gas and salt content.

•

The place where has vibration and impact.

•

The place where has much dust.

6.2 Delivery

Deliver the UPS while keeping its

original packing state.

Open the packing near the UPS

installation place.

6.3 Installation space

Install the UPS with taking following space.

•

About more than 20cm from the front

Air intake space of forced cooling by fan.

•

About more than 20cm from the back

：

Air exhaust space of forced cooling by fan.

•

About more than 1m from front, more than

50cm from back at maintenance

：

Space for maintenance

•

More than 1m from CRT display

：

A slight amount of magnetic flux may leak.

Keep the space for the things which tend to

be affected by magnetic flux.

Note

Fix to the floor in considering
maintenance space.
