VOC CONTROLLER
(see also VOC controller detailed operation on page 4)
Remove the cover.
Connect the wires with the marrettes supplied:

The detector is factory set at 3.0 V DC; If you wish to set up a
higher sensitivity, please proceed as follow.
SETTINGS (if necessary)
You will need a voltmeter with alligator type probes.
Place the probes one on the positive terminal, the other on the neutral terminal.
Use a small screwdriver to turn the adjustment screw to increase the sensitivity of the controller.
Increase --- clockwise decrease ---- counter clockwise
The default setting is 3.0 v dc. The closer your setting is to 3.0 vdc, the faster the triggering of the lamp
will be.
CHECKING IF IT WORKS
1.
Start the S300 unit: inside the polycarbonate box, the GREEN LED will flash. It will take 5 minutes
to initializes the board.
2.
After this period, the GREEN LED will turn solid. Either blow cigarette smoke or propane gas into
the controller: the RED LED lights up and the relay will trigger on the oxidizing lamp (all UVV).
This sequence reproduce itself every minute or so. When there is no more smoke (VOC), the
RED LED will turn off at the same time as the lamp. Screw back the cover of the controller. When
the unit is powered the GREEN LED on the cover will light up The RED LED on the cover will
power up when the UVV lamp is activated.
MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS

MONTHLY:
Change the pre-filter that protects the motor (part #
MSCFTR10
) to ensure the
optimal performance of the unit. Check the lamps: if there is a cloudy residue please clean then
off with denatured alcohol.

YEARLY
: Change lamps (parts -see below) to maintain performance: make sure to put the same
lamp in the same clamp. Do not interchange the lamps as the blue end cap lamp works only with
the VOC controller.
