RS-485 (A / B )
(only for VTC-8200P, VTC-8212P, VTC-8300WDP and VTC-8312WDP):
The camera can be adjusted by a serial communication (RS-485), according to the Pelco D
protocol. The camera OSD is activated using the SET-PRESET 95 command. This
command is also used as a confirmation (ENTER).
In the camera OSD, the communication parameter have to be set correctly to the connected
device, e.g. a keyboard.
1. Camera ID adjustment
2. Setting of Baud rate (2400, 4800, 9600, 19200, 38400, 57600 Baud)
3. UART mode (8-N-1 , 8-E-1, 8-0-1 )
4. RET PKT (enable/disable)
5. DISP ID (ON, OFF); ID is displayed in the video picture or not
UTP A / UTP B
(only for VTC-8200P, VTC-8212P, VTC-8300WDP and VTC-8312WDP):
Besides a BNC video output, this camera has a UTP output (twisted pair). An active twisted
pair transmitter is built-in into the camera. It is recommended to use SANTEC VEZ-1000 as
twisted pair receiver.
GND:
Ground connection for camera, connected with metal housing.
