2.4.3 Video OCX Protocol

The video OCX protocol settings can be found under this path:

Streaming > Video OCX Protocol

Here you can select the transmission mode for the streaming in the Internet Explorer.

By default, “RTP over UDP” is selected to achieve the lowest possible latency at the video
transmission (recommended mode).

If you experience firewall problems:
Select “RTSP over HTTP”. In this case, you only have to forward ports 80 and 554.
This mode, however, is not recommended because this method has a negative influence on
the overall performance of the camera.
