Device description
TENS pain therapy using the SaneoTENS
TENS ( T ranscutaneous E lectrical N erve S timulation) has been
medically recognised and proven for over 40 years.
SaneoTENS is a TENS therapy system for the effective
treatment of acute and chronic pain.
During TENS therapy a medically effective current that is non-
hazardous to health is directed through the skin to the tissue via
two or four electrodes.
Two frequency ranges are available in the treatment programs.

TENS therapy (1 Hz to 20 Hz)
... is ideally suited for treatment of chronic pain as it can
stimulate the release of pain-reducing substances that are
produced naturally in the body (e.g. endorphins,
dynorphins). The body’s own painkillers also remain
effective after treatment.

TENS therapy (50 Hz to 100 Hz)
... is particularly suited for treatment of acute pain. It can
block or reduce pain signals to the brain.
Treatment frequency
Where necessary, you can perform several
treatments daily, provided no side effects such as
skin reactions occur.
